Porsche Ukraine LLC statement on the war in Ukraine

Porsche Ukraine LLC, the official Importer of Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, AUDI, SEAT and CUPRA in Ukraine, is a part of the Porsche Holding Salzburg which is a 100% subsidiary of the Volkswagen AG. The whole Volkswagen Group is greatly concerned and dismayed at the news of the war in Ukraine and continues to hope for a cessation of hostilities and a return to diplomacy. The companies and employees of the Group could not just stand aside, thus, the following actions were already implemented in the view of the Russia's attack to Ukraine:

  • Volkswagen's Group Board of Management has decided to stop producing vehicles in Russia until further notice. This decision applies to the Russian both production sites at Kaluga and Nizhny Novgorod. The export of vehicles to Russia will likewise be halted with immediate effect.   • The company itself has been actively involved in providing humanitarian aid: as a first step, the Board of Management of the Volkswagen Group has already granted one million euros in emergency aid to the UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe, the German partner agency to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). In total, the emergency aid given by the Volkswagen Group to help those affected by the war currently totals around 3.5 million euros, but it is just the beginning.   • Current highest priority of the Porsche Ukraine LLC is to ensure the safety of all members of the team. It has already implemented specific measures to support Ukrainian employees and the members of their families, for example, the company assists to the employees and their families who took refuge to other countries. Employees both staying in Ukraine and staying abroad in other European countries are involved in multiple humanitarian aid initiatives.      \
