Volkswagen in Ukraine provides cars and fuel to healthcare and social workers to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

2020-04-06

Porsche Ukraine and Volkswagen joins the fight against the spread of COVID-19 and provides 10 cars for temporary use and fuel for healthcare workers and organizations involved in the fight against COVID-19.

The idea has been implemented with the support from the Anti-Crisis Head Office of Kyiv City Public Administration, which now closely cooperates with healthcare and social workers.

Part of the cars will be provided to the Main Coordination Center working under the Kyiv City Public Administration's Department of Social Policy and helping unprotected and vulnerable people.

The cars will be used to transport patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment and being at risk for the coronavirus disease.

Three cars will be provided to the Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine Center of Kyiv, where ambulance teams provide 24/7 emergency medical care in case of accidents and conditions that threaten the life or health of the population.

The employees of the Center are working hard these days, and allowing them to be mobile is important as never before.

The cars will also be provided to the healthcare workers of the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital of Emergency First Response.
